Who? Me?

I am an underappreciated pancake maker, a lover of all animals, an optimist, a wanna-be scientist, and a freaky fringe liberal. I am a dork who thinks that laughing loudly is an essential ingredient in life. I am a Disney hater but an

Me!

Americana lover. I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Dunkin Donut’s coffee (cream and sugar please!). I love pizza with really good red pizza sauce or white pizza with no sauce at all. I love putting all of my “day old” veggies in the juicer to see what color comes out. I love children and cats and someday I want to own a ranch dedicated to raising small dogs of all kinds. I love experimenting with food and trying out new exercises at the gym–but not at the same time. So, who are you?

Dunkin Donuts is the best. I learned to appreciate them when I was living in Boston. But down here, they don’t know what a “large regular” (or, in Bostonese, a “laaaaahge regulluh”) means, because they always ask if I want cream and sugar. Welllll, durrrrrr, that’s what “regular” means!

Anyway, to answer the question you pose at the end . . . I’m a beer snob, a music nerd, and a politics geek. I’m a late bloomer in almost all things. I have only a handful of friends, but they are the kind of friends you keep for life. Future plans include learning to play guitar like Django Reinhardt, and changing the world.

I am with ya on the world changing bit. I have grandiose ideas…a la optimism, but you know, some one has to do it. Why can’t it be me? Or at least my progeny 🙂
